I've read about yaks as beasts of burden, but I never heard of anyone riding one. Yet this fellow comes equipped with a saddle and stirrups! He (or possibly she) doesn't look too happy about it, either.

Hi OzsomeOne. Are you a Dorothy? I see you have your ruby slippers.

HaHa! Not really a Dorothy, but I do live along the yellow brick road. Couldn't resist that icon to add to my ruby slipper collection.

I knew I was missing something. Click those heels for me and ask God to please reveal where I stashed the plugs and wires for recharging my tablet and camera etc. I have been looking for weeks. Thanks.

I asked the Wizard. He said if they're not in your junk drawer, try looking for the original boxes they came in. Maybe the Tin Man is using them for a pacemaker!

Must be tha tin man got them. I finally gave up and ordered a new plug and wire for the tablet. Thanks for the clicking. It helped me find what I needed at a reasonable price. The company who makes the tablet only sold a kit that was almost $40! The plug will cost about $15 after shipping and taxes.

LOL. I'm heat intolerant - which, living in n.e. Fla is a real problem - so I hibernate in the summer in my air conditioning.

I'm somewhere in the middle. LOVE lots of sunshine, but don't do well in much over 75-80; but bitter cold isn't my style either. Am very thankful God created the Pacific Northwest!

Our weather is very unpredictable at the moment one day really cold but sunny, then rain and strong winds but warm today warm for January and sunny but more winds rain and snow on the way

You avoid the temperature extremes but not all the rain. I'd like to see your rain forest some day. My son says it's beautiful.

Kjd3682 and crlyblonde, what states do y'all live in?
kjd3682
Jan 14, 2015
Trynfindit, I'm on the southwest border of Washington state. Pixipixil, it's true, we do have a lot of rain, but that's what gives us our beautiful "green". Wouldn't trade it for anything! Does your son live here, or was it a visit?

Trynfindit I'm live near Cambridge England hence the unpredictable weather whatever the season but no extremes of hot or cold

I don't believe I did that, kjd. I meant my brother ( who is 7 years my junior). My son died last October. I guess I still want him alive so much I made that error. My brother was thinking of retiring to that area but his wife's family went to AZ so that'swhat they did instead.
