I would love to have another lab again. I had one when I was 15 yrs old. That's only 47 yrs in between. :O)

Vmarie, You are dogone right with what you wrote. I have a dog and he is my everything. You will never know what a dog means to you until you have one. I was talked into mine. I didn't want a dog but was told it would keep me company. After a NO, NO, NO, I finally consented and it was one of the best moves I've ever done. This little guy is now 8 years old. He weighs 20 lb. He is the best little guy. He's by my side constantly. I can't leave the room without him going with me. I could go on and on but to you who don't want a dog because of the work etc. They are worth every bit of it.

God bless

Glad to hear you are happy with your doggie. I know how important a dog was for my aunt--especially after a really nasty divorce. She's dead now but she was a real positive life force in my life. Her dying was such a shock because she was one of those people who managed to be always upbeat.

I couldn't imagine my life without a dog or two - and cats. When I had my boarding kennels, I remember one customer telling me that it was her dog who got her through the death of her husband.

If we had a big farm house with a few acres I might still enjoy the animals but we have a smal house on a small plot and with my husband still working, just keeping up with things for him and my son and his daughter takes all my energy. I used to love animals but the last year or two of nursing my two cats into the grave kind of spoiled things in that department. I still love seeing pets as long as they are some body else's.

A little slow today but that's the least of my problems. Off to San Francisco again. This time to see a neurosurgeon for a second opinion about this little tumor I have at the base of my inner ear. Whatever happens today will help me decide whether to have surgery right away or wait a while. Prayers please, that I hear all the important things he says and then to make a wise decision.

God bless you all today and every day.

My prayers are with you for a quick, correct diagnosis. There's nothing worse than waiting for decisions that affect your health.

Thank you all for your prayers. The decision is to watch and wait. Another MRI in six months then once a year unless it shows it is growing. YAY GOD!

So glad you have gotten good news. Now prayers it doesn't get any bigger and you can just ignore it between scans.
