Rested and ready to go again :) My nephew brought his wife and four month old baby to visit today. The baby is precious and it was nice to see them.

God bless all you lovely puzzlers and remember there is no mountain too high for God to take you through. Hugs.

Love a mountain top if it has a road up there, otherwise the effort is not worth it to me. There was a restaurant on top of a mountain that was part of a ski resort near where we used to live in the 80's. It was gorgeous to go there at sunset and they had a wonderful salad bar which was all we could afford to buy but it had everything...even home cooked bread and soup. What a great memory.

This is my rest time. When I am done then it is back to school work. I have to get my GPA back up. Last year I was at 4.0 now I am down to a 2.38 GPA. This is not good.

Please pray that I can get my grades back up to where they need to be. I have been not doing to good with some of my classes. I hope I did not take on more than I can handle.

Hello Mamag15…I'm a retired teacher, and you warm my heart by wanting to get your grades up. I know how intimidating the mountain of work seems when you get behind. Here's a simple process that worked for many of my students: 1) make a list of subjects across the top of the page; 2) under subject, list each assignment needed to be done; 3) under each assignment, list the steps needed to complete the work. Now you have baby steps to work on; cross off each baby step as completed and move to the next one. After all, it's just a baby step! Use a timer and give yourself 3 minute breaks between each thing crossed off to celebrate in some simple way – hoot & holler, stretch and bend– then quickly proceed. You're in my prayers…so power is headed your way! : )Good luck!

Times certainly flies swiftly by. The first message in this thread was Aug 10, 2013 and I mentioned meeting with my nephew and his wife and darling child and this week we met their new bub equally as cute. I understand the saying that as life goes by it is like a toilet roll, the closer to the end, the faster it goes :( Hugs to all of you.

Wow, Aussie. I had never heard that quote but in fact did a self portrait with a roll of my life photos as the toilet paper roll. How weird it that?

Hi pixipixil You'd love Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales at 3560 feet (stuff these Micky Mouse meter measurements - I'm English) 'coz it has a railway to the very top!!
