Beautiful building, I wonder if the sky is truly that blue?
Sunday is Whitsunday I pray that the Holy Spirit will alight on you all and fill you with the sevenfold gifts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,, bother, I have forgotten the last 2 can anyone help me out

I first thought the sky wouldn't be that blue but if they took the picture right after dusk, and the back of the building faced west, so there was light in the sky but it was dark for the building's lights to turn on, then it could look that blue. Though, they usually enhance color with all these kinds of pictures anyway.
I googled the Whitsunday gifts, and I found different versions of them depending on the source. So I can't help with the last two...wisdom maybe? Piety? But either way, your innocent question got me to learn a little bit more about God. :)

Thank You The 7 gifts of the Holy spirit are (according to Wikipedia) Wisdom. Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord. Thanks for pointing them out ;-)

Trynfindit, if the sevenfold gift of the \Holy Spirit described me I would walk about with a Halo instead of the horns that I keep hidden under my veil, but thank you for the compliment.

When I was there-there was just the main building, an art building by the river and one other building plus some tennis courts. Our dorm was half of the 3rd floor--other half was married dorm and the guys were above us on the 4th floor. Also called Lafayette Street then. Times have sure changed but I loved it when it was small! Too big now.

Thanks for the information. Many things have changed there and the new buildings overshadow the old, but they still have great baseball!!

Blessing to all of you too. Last night I gave the wrong name for the initials behind my name. I said it was the Office of Franciscan Seculars - it should be Order of Franciscan Seculars. Not much difference it just makes what I'm in more of a something attached to a monastery. We're having nice weather here in southern Maryland. I really feel sorry for all the flood victims. We should all pray for them. Take care. Nancy OFS

P.S. Still praying for everybody. Stay safe.

Would love to see inside.

"But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown."
– Carl Sagan,

"Laughter is America's most important export."
– Walt Disney

Good night and God bless all of you. Hugs.

Good morning to all puzzlers and C4J staff, hope you are all well and happy. Really enjoyed both quotes this morning Aussie. Am a big fan of both men, who were both equally brilliant just in very different fields. I really admire Dr, Sagan watched all his shows, still do when I'm lucky to find them on. Loved Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson remake of his series, it was excellent! Think I spelled his name right. Beautiful building, love architecture, always looking at the different styles. Maybe the reason I have never felt settled is that I have too many interests or things that I love and couldn't decide on one or two?? You all take care and be safe

I suspect with the current political views around the world, that laughter, followed by tears, and then laughter is the going "normal". Have a great day, aussie! Blessings and hugs!
