What a lonely road, would sure hate to have car trouble out there, bet there is no cell phone service out in the middle of nowhere. Aussie good to hear from you, was beginning to worry we have missed you also. Everyone take care and be safe.

The road is in California, so there's cell service everywhere.

Believe it or not, there are places in California where you cannot get cell service. Not because it is not available but because you are in a "hole" surrounded by mountains! In a broken down car that can be more hazardous than on a straight road like this.

True, nlb. In AK, we often don't have any service, even though your phone shows multiple bars.

I've been to AK - thought the scenery was breath takingly beautiful. Wonder if I was missed - there were a couple of days month ago. That I wasn't on this site. I was in the hospital and my condition was serious!

Oh it's okay. I'm on meds now and if I don't take one of the meds I'll be back in the hospital. I have to go to two different doctors now. The ER doctor asked me if I was aware of two conditions that I had last year and I told him no. I wasn't told this info because my doctors office didn't notify me. The doctors office immediately called because of a message from the hospital. I told the office what the ER doc had found and the nurse replied oh we left a message last year telling you to go to urgent care. I would have gone to the ER for both situations. No worries darambo - many people on this site.
