Love old grist mills. Lots of them in New England.

Hi toadalove, after looking at our forecast coming up for beginning of March, I have my doubts as to when Spring really will begin. I think I heard 25 more days till Spring. :))

Had another sunny day again today, mind you they say we are going to have some frost tonight, as long as it is not ice'y on the roads tomorrow as I have a hospital check up, and not very steady on my pegs in the icy weather.
Will do my best toadalove to make sure the weatherman get your request.

Just keep THINKING SPRING!!!
We do have sunshine here, but still dripping water. Have made it up to 16 F today. Yesterday we had rain, ice, sleet, snow, thunder, & an earthquake.

OMGoodness. Earthquakes and tornadoes would be hard for me to digest. Hope not a bad one. Hope nothing broke in your home or anyone hurt. We have sunshine and now and a temp of 27. Sunny tomorrow and in the thirties so this stuff should melt. YES!

I didn't even feel one, but they said we had several & I missed were they were during the news this evening. They are usually small & very seldom cause damage.

You can be thankful for that. Hopefully doesn't happen often.

They said we had around 300 last year, a lot couldn't be felt but I think the largest was a 5.9 and a lot from 2.5 to 3.5. I have only felt 3, maybe 4 but only 2 really caught my attention.

The ratio of what you actually felt isn't too bad. Still scary for me.

Yeah I'd be scared as well. When I was dating my husband - we were having a phone conversation. Poof he felt an earthquake tremor. He says omg I just felt a tremor. My brother felt one when he was in a skyscraper.

My computer screen feels them more than I do, it will shimmer. I think the last one I felt was a 6.2 or 6.5 one, we have piers under our house so we are more likely to feel them, but the one we have felt are far north of us. Think we must be near that fault. Have never had any damage, and haven't had anything fall off anywhere in the house. I have one picture that I think may move, but it also moves it the front door is shut to hard. It's the other things (tornados) that really get to me.
