Had a tooth extracted this morning. All's well and glad it's over. Not ebough energy for a puzzle.
Have a healthy day.

Oh dear pixi, I feel for you. I have one that broke off level with the gum and the dentist said if it is not giving me any trouble to just leave it. But it will eventually have to come out and while my dentist is brilliant with fillings (doesn't even give me a needle he is so gentle), I have never had an extraction and so not looking forward to it :( Hugs.

Thanks a bunch Aussie, Trynfindit and Carol. I'm doing better tonight. Was very nervous because of need to prep for anaesthetic and the problems with my stomach. Also nerved out over getting there in the snow. We did but the plows hadn't come when we left (they usually go all night), my husband was insisting using a back way to avoid the crazy drivers with sUV's going full speed on the highways...so I thought with our roads unplowed they would be also but had been cleared. (They went through a ritzy area but we live in a lower class neighborhood.) Everything worked out so thanks you Lord for prayers answered..also Blessed Mother and Saint Joseph. But between hardly sleeping last night with nerves, the early departure, the anaesthetic and the extraction I was blasted. I'm feeling more normal now but it's time for bed. Hope you all have a good night.

I think I'll be heading to the dentist as well. I was a passenger with a driver who drives professionally - he made me quite nevous. Driving at a really fast speed, weaving in and out of lanes and coming really close to the car ahead at a fast speed. His wife was in the car too and she knew I was nervous. So he stopped making those dangerous manuevers.

I once got driven by someone like that. A friend had offered to drive me to an event in another state but never mentioned he wasn't driving back so I had to beg a ride and take what I could get. The fellow who drove me home drove just as you describe. I was terrified.

Hi darambo, how is the pain level. Hope it is getting less and less each day. Hugs.

Aussie " big sis " guess I'm going to have to learn to live with the pain, as the saying goes. They took the staples out ( 23 of them, I made them count them), back is still pretty bruised, still can't feel my left leg. Pain gone in right leg, so I guess the surgery did help some. Apparently the nerve damage in left leg is permanent, I guess my cane will continue to be my best friend hahahaha!!!! Be safe my friend.

And the plus side of a can is that it makes a good weapon Darambo lol. The other day I was walking down the path on the front wall of my house and walked into a huge spider's web and by the time it had happened I looked and saw the biggest spider about an inch and a half from my shoulder. Well I reacted badly and did the mexican hat dance but the spider was still there. Managed to finally get it off with my walking stick and knocked it into the garden. The web was really sticky and when I got into my car I noticed a small cocoon with legs sticking out of it so tried to get it off the stick without touching it, thought I had, then drove to the bank, got my stick out and the darn thing was still on my stick. Managed to get it off and by the time I got home there was all manner of debris stuck to the stick lol. Next day the web was back, but I was better prepared this time and broke a stick of a nearby bush and mangled the web on the stick lol. Take care - hugs.

Aussie thanks for the wonderful story. It really gave me a good chuckle (didn't wake Ed this time--Oh darn I tried so hard to lol!!! ) I can just see you dancing around. I hate spiders, when I was in my early 20's I was bitten by a brown recluse spider and spent the following week in the hospital. Be safe my " big sis "

It got me again yesterday - think I will have to bring out the heavy artillery and make sure there are not a lot of little ones hatching (if that's what spiders do) lol - Darambo - hugs to you and Ed.

Lovely little birdhouse - hope some lucky birds find a home in it.

I love your quotes this morning Miss Aussie. I think if more people got rid of cell phones and actually talked to one another, the world would be a better place. Maybe people would truly listen and learn something. Have a blessed day. :)

Mamag15 I agree with you, I have a basket on a end table that is just next to the front door with a note saying "Please put you phone in here until you leave! " There is no reason if you have come to see us for you & your friends need to be on the phone with them the whole time.

Good idea catlady, my nephew and his wife have their mobile phone glued to their hands I think. I will never understand why everything is so urgent that you have to have that immediate contact. Hugs.

"I will never understand why everything is so urgent that you have to have that immediate contact."

It's called addiction.

Lol trynfindit - must be a lot of cell phone (mobile phone) addicts!! Hugs.

Mar 15, 2018
Actually there ARE a lot of cell phone addicts, to the point that cities are passing laws about people walking around so glued to their phones that they have become a hazard to themselves and others.

They are not allowed to be used while driving in Australia trynfindit unless you have a hands free one. Even then I think it is a dangerous thing to do as the focus is off the driving and on the conversation. Hugs.

Nice birdhouse. I am a lover of all animals but I never truly took notice of the birds until I got my cat. I love to see her sit on the cat tree by the window and watch the birds that build nests in the tree next to my house. How sweet it is! :) :)
