My first thought was that it looked like a Surrealist painting, or something Escher might have done if he'd worked in colour. I think it's because the part outside the pillars not only looks like water, it looks as if the pillars on the far side are half-submerged in water - because of the reflections. Fascinating!!

Hi Barbaranne:
So glad you (all of you) and Bart are getting along so well. I bet when doggie 2 comes along it will be interesting to see the differences in how they train.

Hi Jiggler:
I never thought of Escher as a Surrealist (so I Googled him and he is although neither my Jansens even have him in the index). To me the picture is more like a De Chirico who liked doing archways...but there the similarity ends because his work is cold and frightening.
Escher to me is almost op art in his fish/bird grid. HIs stairways are like puzzles to follow. Lots of fun. Good to hear from a fellow art enthusiast. I learned something new tonight. Thanks.

GOD bless all you puzzlers on this blessed day. I hope that your day is filled with sunshine and happiness. I love going to church but haven't been able to for some time. I know that GOD is with me and I listen to my sermon on tv. My husband and I attended church with our children for many, many years but now he's gone and I'm not able but GOD knows it and hopefully will forgive me.
Love you guys......have a great day........:-)

I'm sure Logansport that God pours blessings on you for being faithful and worshipping at long distance. Has for being forgiven God would be surprised that you even thought that you needed forgiveness, God loves you and the only thing that can seperate you from Him is youself, He will never leave you. Sorry, now you have had 2 sermons today. Be at peace with yourself my puzzling friend. God Bless

God's church is in the hearts of His people, not a building. I also am unable to attend church in a building, but I know He is with me and hears my prayers. God bless you and let Him allow you to feel His presence in your home.

Well said Barbaranne and nlbuchanan. And Logansport, there is nothing to forgive. God sees and knows our hearts and for all of those on here who are a testimony to what the love of God can do, you are beautiful witnesses and I know that God will bless you for that. Take care and sending a virtual hug your way.

Hi Logansport. Glad to hear you are well enough to make it to church today. No doubt it will feel like coming home to you. I hope so anyway. And the others are right that there's nothing to forgive. God is not a not picker. He is love and understands.

Had a very fulfilling week-end. Had my 4 year old granddaughter from Tuesday until today when she went home. Yesterday we had our last meeting before the 8th annual CYM( Christian Youth Ministries) carnival and bonfire. We had such a good meeting and accomplished a lot. The big event is coming up soon. October 12th is the day of our big event. My poor sister is going crazy. She is the one who organizes these events and we volunteer to help set up, run game booths, cook and bring baked goods, and whatever else is needed. Then in November, she is planning her youngest daughter's baby shower. We are so looking forward to a new baby in the family. My niece and her husband have been married two years and this is their first one. I plan on helping with the decorations on this also. Then we have to get ready for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and start the new year all over again by planning CYM2014 which I am already doing by figuring out the flyer design. Been very crazy. This coming Sunday hubby and I are taking a trip to Pennsylvania from Virginia for a few days. Cannot wait.
