farmer who lived nearby heard the noise.
"Hey Willis!! " the farmer yelled. "Forget your troubles. Come in with us.
Then I'll help you get the wagon up."
"That's mighty nice of you, " Willis answered, "but I don't think Pa would
like me to."
"Aw, come on, " the farmer insisted.
"Well okay, " the boy finally agreed, and added, "But Pa won't like it."
After a hearty dinner, Willis thanked his host. "I feel a lot better now,
but I know Pa is going to be real upset."
"Don't be foolish! " the neighbor said with a smile. "By the way, where is
he? "
"Under the wagon."

Hi luvswesterns, Darambo tends to do her computer work in bed in the wee hours of the morning and laughs a lot at some of the jokes I post and wakes him up. She said one time that he said "is that Aussie again??? " lol. She is lovely and has had a lot of physical pain to deal with. Hugs Luvswesterns.

Aussie don't know which joke I liked best, they were both funny!! Been awake all night again, getting so tired of being tired lol! Did finally get up and left the bedroom, at least there was something good on t.v., have been watching " The Lord of the Rings ". Loved the movies and the book. Take care and be safe " big sis "

Elijah they do look skinnier than most cobbs do. I do love corn on the cobb whether it is raw or cooked in any way. Looks like white corn, prefer the white as it is sweeter to me. Be safe and happy.
