Wonder how big this is. Have made numerous latch-hook rugs--the biggest about 70" round that I have in my computer room. Made it over 40 years ago.

That's a big rug, and it's held up for over 40 years? You must take very good care of it. When you first began creating it, did it seem daunting?

I blew the pattern up on the overhead projector at school. Then took it home to my mothers and laid it on her patio and traced it onto the rug backing. Then I wanted to start to latch-hook it. I found out I didn't know how to do it so had to figure it out. It is wool--didn't make the yarn for it in washable yarn.yet. I have had it cleaned a few times. It's a picture of a seagull I made another one that is rectangular hanging above my fireplace--almost as big

I wish we could post pictures on here, I'd love to see them. My daughter use to latch-hook, she was about 11 at the time and got a kit for Christmas. She really enjoyed it, but never picked it up as a hobby. Do you think this is something I could do, with arthritis? I have good days where my hands don't hurt at all, and I think using them like that would be a good exercise for them.

You could start with something little. Michaels--if you have it there --they have kits. It would be worth a try. Let me know what happens.

You might be able to google or duckduckgo (the one I use)it and put in hatch hook kits and see what happens. Worth a try!
