After I finished Lion Around I looked at the Related Jigsaws and thought this was cute. I bet Sam would like a trout mailbox. I wonder if they make them?
I find this mailbox quite alluring. I had to worm my way into that last sentence.

I did a mail box for my parents house when they lived in Arkansas, but it was painted with roses, it was at the edge of rose garden in their front yard.
We use to go there & go fishing, but you are right none were that ugly!

H I let my dad take it off the hook. Have you ever caught a pike while fishing? I let my dad take it off the hook; teeth are very sharp.

Yes, I have seen those teeth on walleyed pike. They were worth the risk though, when it came time to eat! lol

Those were fun to catch & one of the few I liked to eat. We used to go to a lake in NW Kansas to catch them. Took our tent & stayed in it for the weekend.

I had 2 brothers and a sister who lived in Show Low, AZ. They practically lived on the water, fishing, day and night, whenever they got the chance. I spent the night on the lake with a couple of them once, and boy did we eat good the next day!

Many years ago, before kids and getting old. We have lived in KS and OK when hubby was still able to get around all that stopped when he broke his neck in '89.

Agree that this mail box is ugly. My parents mail box was in the shape of a house. My grandparents belonged to a trout club. I've been to Alaska - had to go to the doctor on Friday. Was just there a few weeks ago - I was worse. Now on 5 different meds. Was planning on having lunch with an uncle and will have to postpone that. Was quite sad a few weeks ago - Ugh!
