Now that you added a fire truck puzzle to the puzzle gallery I would love to see some fire station puzzles added to the gallery as well as some firefighter puzzles. I have family members that are firefighters & I love them. The city of altoona fire department keep all of their fire trucks well maintained as well as all of the fire equipment. They test the fire hoses every year. I enjoy visiting one of the fire stations almost daily. Thanks again for the beautiful fire truck puzzle you added. Firefighters are citizen soldiers fighting to save lives & properties. We should thank them for the work that they do, because they might be saving my life or your life someday. They should be honored & remembered the same way as we remember all of the soldiers that fight for our freedom.

I used to babysit for one of my friends in Altoona. They lived just up the hill from the fire station. I used to walk the kids down to the station and the firemen would be so kind to the kids showing them everything on the trucks.

I'm from "down under"....New Zealand. Love it here. How are things in Serbia these days? We don't see you in the news any more (is that a good thing? )

No, it is not good, hard time for Sebia, becouse we don't have adequate people to govern our country, and we are constantly going down. But what can we do...
I adore New Zealand, I would like to come there someday. How it is there?

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, wickedKika (cool name, by the way! ). I thought that, once the fighting stopped, things would mend....but you're right, a country needs strong (fair) leadership. I came to New Zealand from England 53 years ago, loved it from day one. There isn't so much class structure here, the mindset is very egalitarian. I've had a very varied career which I've enjoyed (retired now, also good! ). I wish you a better future!

Fire engine? How appropriate for aussiesapphire! Park one in front of your house and turn on the hose! While you are cooking---we are freezing. It supposed to get to negative 15 degrees without the wind chill and there is always wind here --- went out this morning to shovel snow -- I guess we finally have our winter wonderland -- and it is still coming! Have a great day everyone!

One question for toadalove -- I was doing a random puzzle yesterday and happen to read the comments--you mentioned you live in Yakima, WA. If that is so it is near where I grew up--in a little town called Prosser, nestled in wheat fields that went forever--Prosser is between Yakima and the Tri-Cities.

I know where Prosser is and have been down there..Grew up in Binghamton New York and came out here to spend more time with one of my sisters that live here. Hardly ever see her because she and her husband are really co-dependant. Found out that that was not at all what god had planned for me. My daughter lives in Brooklyn, New York and I sure would love to go there to live to watch my granddaughter grow up. She is just the best little thing to happen in our lives!

Hi Terabyte, actually if we had turned on the hose, the whole neighbourhood would have been under it cavorting around, it was just so hot lol. Shoveling snow sounds heavenly right now. We spent most of yesterday sitting outside in the pergola where at least there was a breeze blowing. My husband is American and says he doesn't miss the snow shovelling one little bit :)
