Easter is almost here. Daylight savings starts for us tomorrow. Hopefully we will be staying on daylight savings from now on. A bill has just been signed, but has to be approved by Congress.

Easter, celebrating the risen Christ and all you see in department stores are bunnies and bunny ears, so sad.

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, 'I love you.' Billy Graham

I really do believe that God is love, one of deep affection and grace and forgiveness and inspiration. William P. Young

God bless all of you at this special time. Hugs.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, will not perish, but have everlasting life. That message gets lost in our secular world, sadly, and it's one of the happiest verses in the Bible.

You go to the stores for the things that can be sold, and to the church for the things that can't.

Beautiful, I love to hear people recite verses from the Bible.
Happy Easter, Aknan.

Easter bunnies and colored eggs don't bother me in stores. The eggs represent new life. The eggs and bunnies present a happy feeling and, at Easter, I am happy beyond belief that Jesus rose from the dead to give us life.

Hi aussie, your right all the Christian holidays seem to have everything but Christ. He must be very sad to be looking down on this, but we can still show our love for Him in anyway that we can.

I do not have kids yet...In Greece we dye the eggs red and after the Easter vigil (mass on Saturday midnight), at home everyone holds an egg and we tap one's egg intending to break the other's...The winner is the one whose egg is not broken

How can they get any cookies cut with such a crowded work space?

I still dye a few eggs. When we have Easter dinner my grown children and my oldest grandchild (all of our other grands are out of town) come and are disappointed if there are no colored (real) eggs. Even my mother, before she died at 91, always wanted some dyed Easter eggs to take home.
