Is it a rabbit or is it a guinea pig? always thought that rabbits had floppy ears and you cannot call those floppy or can you?

I think you are right, not a bunny.

No, it really is a rabbit. The dwarf ones don't have the long, floppy ears and they're rather fuzzy. Also very sweet, until they start in on your garden!

Very sweet and cuddly, would something that size eat much out of the garden aknan. Are these wild or mainly pets. I do like it when puzzlers tell you what animals really are so thank you aknan.

It's not that they eat so much, but they spoil things by nibbling a bit, then moving to the next plant. I believe they were originally domestic hybrids, but careless people have let them escape - or turned them out when they became "too much bother" to keep. Thoughtless souls...

Thoughtless, indeed! Rabbits have been so thoroughly domesticated that they can no more survive alone in the woods than a puppy or a child could. They're a far cry from their wild cousins.

Yes. Seems like it's early calendar-wise. I heard the first robin today. (Didn't see one but I heard one. They sound to me like the hyenas of the bird kingdom.) When I hear the redwing blackbird who makes sort of a buzzing call, I'll know the cold weather is over.

Yes, in Cincinnati the weather has at least been above 40 for most of this month. It got to 71 one day this past week and now, we are just on a rollercoaster.

Oh that 71 sounds heavenly. I tried to get some sun last week when it got into the high 40's but I could only dare to bare the bottom half of my arms. I am astonished at people who go around in shorts and t-shirts in this weather.

Yeah, that never fails to astonish me either.
