Born in chicago area and lived there until 11 years of age. Went back a few years ago, saw my old house--the inside of it. The neighborhood hadn't changed much. However, would not live there now--even tho it is still a good neighborhood.

Isn't the Sears tower the tallest building, now that the twin towers are gone?

I think it's the tallest in the U. S., but I believe a building in China or Dubai is the tallest in the world.

I've seen photos of the extraordinary buildings in Dubai. OMG!!! :-) I hope they aren't prone to earthquakes! Money can do alot of things.

The ONE WORLD TRADE building built to replace the twin towers is the largest in the US when you count the spire at 1776 ft
