I'm glad they took his picture with his eye closed most of the way. I can't stand those beady red eyes that look like they're gonna get me! lol

Lots of people do not like crows---he has a mom and dad somewhere that love him.....they love tearing up garbage bags and making a big huge mess

Ewwwww black crows, lots of them on the island with their strident cries - I wish that Noah had left them behind lol.

While Noah was leaving things behind he could have left the mosquitoes, too....

Aknan, you can add snakes to that list.

Nlb and tomandray, no he is not improving and I am quite concerned about him. He has a bad ticker and when he starts to cough, it is very hard on his heart. Quite scary. I have only had him for three years and would like to keep him a bit longer. Thank you for caring. God bless you. Hugs.

Aknan and tomandray, I agree. Must be lots of other things, but they too have their purpose. :)

Really agree with tomandray...have never seen a purpose for them. At least with mosquitoes you can get a repellent.

Will gladly trade out hot "MUGGY" weather for almost any other, got rain again last nite, and looking for at least more rain & storms for at least 5 more days in our forcast with temps in the upper '90's. Just like walking into a steam bath when you go outside, finally got the inside down to the 56 percent inside with the a/c going 24-7...had been up to 80 percent last week inside.

Well, we got a lot of rain today. Two storms came through in the afternoon. All done for today. We did need the rain. Was not so hot today, high of 84. Those rain storms cooled things off. Stayed in all day, made tomato soup. That was dinner. Take care and be well. :)

That's what I thought when I saw it--mostly because of the white "leggings". He looks like he's carrying a backpack.

The crows living in the trees here are pure black. The like to use the roof of my mobile home to crack their nuts. Made Mandy (my dog) crazy until she figured out it wasn't someone knocking on the door

God bless you all and may whatever knocks on the roof of your home be a only great opportunity.

So funny Nlbuchanan! We have Turkeybuzzards land on our roof. It's a really loud THUD when they land. :)))) Then there's the squirrles...Click...Click...Click right across our roof. It's "Grand Central Zoo" around here. :))

I get squirrels running across my roof too. Sometimes it sounds like I have an interstate highway running across my roof, it gets so much traffic!

During migration seasons, it really get noisy around here. The bird flocks land in our area to feed and rest a while. They land on the roof and throughout the yard. The squirrels use our house as a crossing point from trees to lines to trees. Guess they feel safer crossing that way. We also have a coyote and a fox has been spotted in this neighborhood. We're a community on the edge of a nature reserve with lots of lakes and river ways. Attracts lots of different animals, including many turtles and frogs. We have one wild cat, spotted it the other day at dusk, it is all black. Don't know what type it is. It ran when it heard me. Asked the neighbor about it, he's been seeing it for quite a few week. It started coming in when we had our freeze back in March. The fellow puts out some food for it. The cat comes, eats and goes back into the woods by the lake. Have a good day. :)

In the village I come from there are many birds, which look like this one but we don't call them crows...maybe they belong to the same family of birds...
