Wonder if this bird is native to the U.S. or of another country. I've never seen a bird like this. Aren't most birds beautiful?

How wrong could one be I was sure this was a kingfisher same colouring and very interesting birds, shore -ly this one would be part of this species, maybe some one could enlighten me?
any which ever family it originates from it is a very colour ful bird and I have enjoyed putting this puzzle together, thank you team for yet another great puzzle and a great afternoon of puzzles.
