My dogs go through these in nothing flat. I buy tennis balls for them dozens at a time

My rotten little dog could have the stuffing out of one of those in half a minute flat!

These balls are also known as 'Hacky Sacks'. They are filled with sand or polystyrene beads and are played by one or more players by keeping the sack off the ground without using their hands, rather like soccer moves.Very skillful. Great puzzle, thanks.

Thanks for info! I was stymied at trying to figure out why anyone would knit balls -- for décor? Ah ha! No. For a game!! Cool.

We use these as toys for our cats and kittens at our shelter. They love to carry them around in their mouths and are very possessive of them!

I was going to say the same thing. I worked at a rehab and the young native men would play this. Fun to watch!

That was fun! These colorful little balls are a good way to use up left over yarn.

I did not know how to crochet, but believe me it is so simple and a lot quicker than knitting, but I must admit I like my knitting just as much, there is a site on the internet whom will give you such information, good luck in your quest.

If you want to knit them just knot a small square and with the wool at the end thread the wool around the square and pull up the thread, and you can now see this is forming a ball and stuff the ball and then pull the yarn up tightly and low and behold you have your colourful ball.

Love the bright colours of these balls, I have been doing some of these for a demand of knitted cupcakes, now some one has asked me to make them some little Santa socks( does seem appropriate for my name)getting back to the socks they are for a little ones party, to be popped into a small glass with a sugar cane, a nice setting as the young ones would enjoy this with Xmas just round the corner.Thank you team for giving us such bright colours to start our day.
