I prefer tea over coffee.

Good morning puzzler friends! I don't comment very much but today I have a special request. Can you please add my 15 year old niece to your prayers today? She was diagnosed with a brain tumor 2 years ago and although it was determined to be harmless, she has been struggling with depression and anxiety ever since. This week she was admitted to a wonderful mental health facility near us. I feel so helpless and guilty. Having suffered from depression most of my adult life, I can relate so well to her, but don't know what to say to her. Please keep Brenna in your prayers if you would. Thank you so much.

Definitely, Jazz. You too. I had depression--but not clinical which is a whole other fish. I found singing certain hymns at the top of my voice helped. You'll have to try ones until you find one that does it for you. Mine was Let the Holy Anthem Rise. If there is anything beyond a physical reason for your blues it should help.

Will be glad to pray for Brenna. 15 is the most difficult age to go through.

Jazz of course prayers for Brenna are on their way, also for you and the rest of your family. I have struggled with depression also so I know what you are going through. Be safe.

Jazz I forgot you have nothing to feel guilty about you are trying to help her I would do the same for my niece. You can remind her you have gone through this yourself, maybe tell her about something that helped you. Tell her you love her and you are there for her, that she is not alone.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. My family appreciates them very much. I got to have a short visit with Brenna last night and she seems to be doing well.

Hard to believe this can make something great to drink.

I love the sea's sounds and the way it reflects the sky. The colours that shimmer across its surface are unbelievable. This, combined with the colour of the water over white sand, surprises me every time."" John Dyer

Lots of inspiration while sitting on the beach and watching the ocean. :)

"Always seek out the seed of triumph in every adversity." Og Mandino

Good night and God bless all you lovely puzzlers. Hugs.

I agree with John Dyer - water is magical, especially ocean water over white sand. Unfortunately, our waters up here are dark with glacier silt and it's much too cold to sit watching the waves! You'll have to do it for me, aussie!

I love the waves. Have any of you read the book the Wave? I think the author is Susan McCarthy but I'll have to check.

Looked it up. The author is Susan Casey. If waves--especially giant ones--fascinate you this book will be one of your favs.

Good old cup of java! ! Could use one right about now. It was 39 degree this morning. Going to take off for a hair appointment and look for some fall clothes.

THANK YOU, Lord, for Your faithful love and for the love of family and friends. Please help me find ways to show
Your love to others today.

God bless you all.

This morning I was looking for ice coffee with the temp 86 degrees. With a high of 95 we broke records. We are in a drought and under a burn ban. Ice cream season has been extended, but so has mosquito season.

Our temp here this morning was in the 80's, today's high in mid 90's. We're expecting it to be twenty degrees cooler tomorrow.

The last time I had an infection, doc, put me on to a antib that I had not had for years, to my horror I have not been able to drink coffee since. Coffee was my life line but if I try to even make it my stomach turns over and I have to go back to fruit or herbal infusions.
Thank you dear puzzlers for your prayers they are truly being answered the leg is healing slowly, that is better than not at all.

I prayer that God will answer your prayers with all the blessings that you deserve.

May He continue to bless you with healing, Barbaranne. Slow is better sometimes, especially if the wound is deep. Ulcers are the worst healers!

A slow one, as I expected. But I will still keep coming back for more.

God bless you all and may you awaken each day with energy to spare - without the coffee. You don't have to give up the coffee just because you don't need it. Just enjoy!
