I'd die for one right now but can't because of "sugar". Don't want diabetes again so really have to watch what I eat.

It was "somewhat" hard to do these delicious cinnamon rolls, but I managed to finish.

Those look really good. Although I like raisins, I will remove them from rolls like this. My dad's wife used to think that I didn't like raisins because I would pick them out.

There's a donut shop a couple of blocks away that has these giant cinnamon rolls - they are probably 9" - 10" in diameter.

Hungry for these rolls now. Have some coffee cake--maybe that will have to do--but will wait until morning with my juice and coffee.

Oh yum, just what you need when you are trying to be so good lol.

"We can't all be bakers or chefs. Many of us have modest ambitions. But we can all buy a piece of the pie." Amah Lambert

So true in my case.

"Because I've done a lot of television, I'm sort of a generalist. I'm not a pastry cook, but I've had to learn a certain amount about it. I'm not a baker, though I've had to learn how to do it. I'm sort of a general cook." Julia Child

Loved the movie about her life starring Meryl Streep.

Take care and God bless. Hugs.

You are correct about the movie. In my opinion, Meryl Street is one of the best actresses ever!

Want your opinion on this: I have a recipe idea from the Internet that says to put canned, refrigerated cinnamon rolls in your waffle iron. Oh, yeah, it says to put cooking spray all over the waffle iron. I don't have any. I thought maybe I'd put melted butter applied with pastry bush all over first. Also, my waffle iron makes small hearts. I guess I should cut the c. rolls in half first? I am trying to get my nerve up before the c. rolls expiration date.

Lol - hope the cooking question was not for me because as a cook I make a good poet lol. Never been my "thing". Hope you get an answer. Hugs.

I would think brushing on butter would do the job nicely. As for cutting the rolls, that would depend on the size of the heart. If half a roll fits nicely into the heart - or just a tad smaller cut it. Otherwise, don't.

I've done the cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron...they're awesome!! Then you drizzle the icing that comes with them over the top and the squares hold it all! They're also great with syrup, etc. like regular waffles. I would think whatever you use on cake pans to make them not stick would work just fine...

Neither one. They are plain old American cinnamon rolls with raisins.

Being one of two scores right now, I have gold! What an illusion of greatness that is.

God bless you all.
