Sounds good to me. 40's this morning and 60's later on.

A family is a gift that lasts forever! Our night is tonight--Carrabbas for dinner, then kids open presents later at my sisters house--across the street from mine.

I will be in the 40's most of the day. Hubby has hot chocolate every night before bed. it helps clear his throat so he can sleep.

Carrabba's is an Italian restaurant. They have them in some parts of the country. I know there are some in Arizona. We go there every other year for Christmas Eve dinner. We had about 30 last night.

Thanks for responding, Elijah. The big Italian food chain around here is Olive Garden and we have found their food to be very good.
Hope your Christmas meal was wonderful and you are enjoying the day.

We have Olive Garden also. In fact, one is right next to Red Lobster and both were owned by General Mills--not sure they are today.

My dad liked Red Lobster but both times I ate there I was immediately sick. We have one right near Olive Garden also. I didn't know the same company owned both.

Not sure it's still owned by General Mills. My sister and her husband (before they married) both worked for Red Lobster and Olive Garden--building planning and finding where to put them.

Ahh hot chocolate, I love it and it warms me up inside so very well. It seems to warm me better than coffee or tea. We're under a winter storm advisory, a series of snow storms is going through the area. When I got the alert yesterday we went to the grocery store and got the few things I needed so we wouldn't have to go out until they have passed. Sure hope you all have good weather for Christmas. All of you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and as always please be safe.

Whenever my kids would complain about snowstorms, shoveling, etc., I would tell them about a winter I had as a kid; over 140 in. of snow in 1945 in the Boston area.

Here's hoping that you, too, darambo, have a very Merry Christmas and an exceptionally Happy New Year to come!

Marine we only have to shovel the walkway to the house and to the mailbox. We bought a quad runner to ride around on in the woods and we got a snow plow attachment. Works great! So no more shoveling, I can't shovel anymore anyways. Be safe.

Merry Christmas to all. I love reading your comments and see the love you have for each other. I usually don't join in think I will try to start this next year. I had a memorial service for my son yesterday, so will be happy and sad this year for Christmas. Merry Christmas from Tennessee, USA.

Been there whalenblm. Can't say it gets better but can say you'll survive it. God bless you and the rest of your family and your deceased son. Mine died around Halloween 4 years ago.
Many blessings to you.

So sorry for your loss, whalenblm. I think there is nothing worse that loss of a child (no matter their age). But your son is spending Christmas in heaven!! I imagine it is a glorious place to be at this time of year!!
