I never met a piece of MILK chocolate I didn't like.

It was very time-consuming because I had to take a bite out of each one.

Lol, ParsonW. If they had mint cream inside I'd be right there with you.

Yes they did. That's why I couldn't stop. I saved some for you, though, pixipixil, :-)))

I'll take a few - thanks! I wonder what these are like - small chocolate covered cookies like Vanilla Wafers covered with dark chocolate?

Is that the kind you wish for, JamieT? Mine have mint cream inside.

Mint definitely.

That sounds good! I've never had these, unless they're like the Girl Scouts' Thin Mints.

No cookie. All candy. I was addicted to them when in my 20's, but my tummy doesn't let me gobble them any more.

Sounds like a York Peppermint Pattie. One of my favorites.

I liked those but the ones I preferred (maybe thin mints? ) looked just like the wafers in the puzzle and came in a long box. They weren't as big as York's.

I remember the Girl Scout's Thin Mints - back in the 50's, when I was selling them - came in a long box. They were $0.50 a box back then. How times change...

I remember selling Girl Scout Cookies at 50 cents a box. We all went door to door back then. The mints were always my favorite but I vaguely remember the early ones being long and skinny with a crunchy outside. Am I correct or is my brain doing more hiccups??

I only remember round ones, but I didn't sell them until 1958. We had the Thin Mints and the Trefoils, a shortbread cookie, back then. And house to house was the only way you could sell them, too.

Pixi, you might be thinking about Junior Mints. About the same size and they used to come in a long, thin (although small) box. We used to get them at the movies.

No matter the kind, Mints are definitely the best.

Amen to that--except if they are really strong ones.
Sometimes those are too much for me.

We call them Chocolate Buttons in New Zealand.

I think they are the ones that are about the size of a quarter and are all chocolate. I like to let them melt in my mouth.
