Yum! Yum! I made chocolate & peanut butter fudge and gave it all away to family and friends for Christmas!! Well, I did eat a "few" pieces! Merry Christmas everyone.

I simply adore MOST varieties of REGULAR fudge. NO sugar-free fudge, however.

I'll pass. Not a lover of chocolate. (Story is my mother used to
eat chocolate throughout her pregnancy with me and now it's my least favorite snack! ) However - others around me love it - so more for them! Keep on snacking!

Our neighbor brought over some homemade dark chocolate fudge. My husband had cleared his walk and a path to the garage with the snow blower earlier in the day. Thank God we still live in such a great neighborhood. These days, there are far fewer that exist, even in small town America.

I remember when I was younger my mother ( in the early 60's) my uncle and his two best friends were in the navy and every Christmas she would make fudge and cookies to send to them. It's one of my fondest memories. I can only eat a small amount of fudge, sooo sweet, but I do love chocolate especially dark chocolate. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and be safe.

Dark chocolate is good for your blood pressure, at least that is what I have been told, so faithfully eat one or two pieces of dark chocolate each night. Well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!! Hugs Darambo.

That's also my excuse for eating it when I get a craving ( luckily I don't get those cravings as often now). I reread that post about my mom and the fudge and I really worded that ackwardly, need to proof read better lol Hugs back to you Aussie and be safe my friend.

Thanks Darambo, off to the doctor to get a few things checked. Hopefully no cause for concern except for a sunspot, at least I think it is one, just above my eyebrow. He freezes them and they not only hurt in the doing, but comes up in a huge nasty looking blister and not able to hide it on the face :( Hugs.

Is that for Santa? I bet he leaves extra gifts at that house!
Love fudge. Especially maple-flavored.
How's the Christmas shopping going for y'all? Used to be you could go to the big stores and pretty much be certain they'd carry what you're wanting but today so many have online services that carry so much more than the stores stock you almost have to shop by computer.
Wishing you safe shopping, great bargains and success in finding what your relatives asked for.

I finished my Christmas shopping earlier in November. I much prefer shopping, Christmas or otherwise, by computer. Many benefits to it.

Headed out to the Family Dollar store for new ornaments, and a green six foot fake tree on sale for ten bucks. Finally it is in my living room all decked out. Looks so pretty! Got a bit upset when a glass ornament fell and shattered. The plastic ones aren't so bad and so inexpensive at that store. My first tree in ages just wanted one, especially at that price! Hope all of you are either doing new traditions or old ones. Cheers with the Egg Nog!

Looks yummy but for me inedible, as well as not having a sweet tooth I am pre-diabetic and do not want to slip over the border into type 2. I pray that all who have been unwell over the last few weeks are being to feel better, and that every one will avoid the winter coughs and colds. May God bless bless you and keep you safe.

Stick to your guns Barbaranne. I'm a type 2 diabetic and it's a royal pain in the pahunkus. God bless you, too.
