Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life. Janine di Giovanni

"Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers." ~ Anthony Robbins

Learning is one of the main functions of living, and to do that we need to ask questions, experience and listen, remain open minded and include our inner knowing. Then we indeed have hope. And as Brian Tracy said, "Communication is a skill that you can learn. It's like riding a bike or typing. If you're willing to work at it, you can rapidly improve the quality of every part of your life."

God bless, take care and Happy Easter everyone.

Happy Good Friday Aussie. I had an Easter egg hunt for my 3 year old great niece yesterday and she loved it. After we were done, she had a little snack and then we back outside to put up my yard decorations. We had such a wonderful day with her and my sister. What a great way to start the Easter celebration and by knowing what God did for us by sending His sweet Son to die so we may have life after death, We are truly blessed.

Amen to that mamag. It is my sister's birthday tomorrow (16 April) and I am taking her out to lunch. She has five granddaughters which makes five great nieces for me. Happy Easter mamag. Hugs.

Happy Easter to you too Aussie. May God bring you joy and happiness as you spend time with your sister. They truly are a blessing. I do not know what I would do without my two, especially my middle sister.

Aussie, I love the quote from Janine di Giovanni! Easter is my favorite holiday for the reason that she stated, Even on years that it snows on Easter, I feel reassured that spring will come and life will renew itself. I am aware that is not true for Australia; and that it is currently your autumn. I still love the fact that Christ died and brought back life for himself and others. It gives me hope and makes me aware of the sacrifice made for humanity. God bless and Happy Easter Aussie! and as always HUGS! :)

The worst thing about these small chocolate eggs is removing the foil as the eggs start to melt.

Yes Jamie T, but that is part of the fun, they taste so good. :)) Love it as they start to melt, especially the dark ones, my favorite. :) Have a Happy Easter.

Don't eat the Easter Eggs from Target - they've been recalled. Hope you have a Happy Easter as well. Ugh! I want to scream - ins. companies! I plan on baking and getting my mind off this upcoming surgical procedure. 3 months of pain, in the back and two other places.

Wish I could really have them, but have watch sugar. When do you have your surgery...keep us as to how things are going for you. I know what you mean about the ins. companies...a real pain dealing w/them. Take care...will be think about you.

Next Thurs. when I signed up they said regarding our income - oh just guess. Then last year they told me oh you lied to us. Then they want 800.00 per month for a prem. then they want 900.00 to the surgery center. The surgery itself will be painful so I requested to be sedated or put to sleep. We are getting another sheltie puppy and am estatic. Just want to give her a hug and cuddle the puppy.

Darn it CatLady...that's exactly what I was going to say. I have dark chocolate squares in my bedroom nightstand, and I have at least two before bedtime every night. Especially like the Ghirardelli brand of intense dark 72% cacao. Doctor's studies prove it's good for you. Yay!.

I dealt with one insurance company one November. They said oh don't pay in Dec. we will bill you in Jan. I asked them 3 times. He says oh yeah and then they tell me I'm two months behind! I didn't think that was right. Hubby has just ordered easter egg candy. So excited we get our puppy next Friday.

Micki...that is my favorite one too. I try to sneak one square every week or every other week. I keep mine in the extra refrigerator since I limit them.
carolsapple...I know what you mean about the ins. mine has gone up twice lately so has my prescription part, also out dental is not bad, but it doesn't cover much and I have been to a dental work lately. Seems there is no end to it. Our house insurance for the house has been terrible since the last F5 tornado went thru near us. We sit between the 2 (F5's) have just missed us each time but the insurance went up each time.

I paid the higher premium and hubby kept saying no! at the time of sign up. I choose that because it was a PPO. A year ago I went with the smaller prem. and then had to pay for the prescriptions that were high. Then the doctors visit as well. They'd say oh we need payment from you. When you're dizzy, have a headache and vomiting from a migraine you're not thinking about paying them at that moment. I kept saying oh I'll go to the ATM or pay you when I get home. Ghiradelli - I took their tour in SF when I was a kid. Then the car needed fixing as well. Many times I wish hubby would help with the household stuff. I pay the bills, do the laundry and then he says oh I do crap....lol

I think the United States needs to join the rest of the industrialized world and provide universal healthcare. In many European countries, you can be a visiting tourist and if you get sick, you'll be treated and there's no worry about paying any bills. Here in the United States, you're almost always fighting with the insurance company to get them to pay for procedures that are covered but some Registered Nurse who hasn't treated a patient in years wants to overrule your doctor.
