ParsonWayne good to hear from you, was wondering if you were ok, missed the puns, but just missed hearing from you, was a little worried you are on just about daily. Tell Mrs.PW to stop working you so hard lol!!! Glad you are back, take care and everyone stay safe.

It's good to see you again. I love little chapels in the woods. They will always have a special place in my heart.

On the sea front of a town in Wales (Rhyl) there is a chapel that seats 4 people, it is really tiny.

Glad you are back. We have been missing you and Aussie. I am so glad our family is all together again. I like the feel of a small chapel. Take care and no more AWOL. :)

Thank you all for your kind comments. It wasn't Mrs PW keeping me busy, though. I have been editing a book for a friend so he could get it published. I DID add a couple of puns to today's puzzle - See 02/10/17

Beautiful - quite Turneresque (sorry - a word I just invented)....Currently taking 5 mins out from the weekly housework - which is only done on Thursdays! So - happy Thursday everybody - hope you are having more fun than I am!

I imagine that many art historians have probably used Turneresque or something similar. You're correct.

Tuesday is my housework day. When I was in my 20's I went for counseling and the lady I saw who was a big help told me to pick one day a week to clean and it worked really well for me. Now I can't get it done in a day so I have reverted but Tuesday is the most of the cleaning day now.

Terri, "Turneresque" is really a word. It's used by art critics when comparing works to the English landscape painter, JMW Turner. He was especially famous for his skies.

Thanks Aknan - Turner is one of the few artists whose style I recognise.....

Me, too, at least of the English romantic school. I fell in love with the way he portrays clouds.

If you look at his earlier work you'd scarcely believe it was the same person. He did paintings of Venice that were detailed and exacting.

YAY - I'm back. My monitor died and it took me a week to get a new one and get it all hooked up to my computer. Lots of catching up to do.

God bless you. Hugs to all.

I had that happen, but decided to buy a new computer as the monitor was half the price. I still use the old one for stuff where the visuals aren't important. The outboard hard drive that was supposed to back it up didn't do a complete job so I sometimes have to track stuff down on the old one. Haven't regretted the choice but if I could have gotten an inexpensive monitor I'd have gone with just that. Glad you found one, Aussie. Welcome back.

Maybe yours went blank. Mine still has a picture but it has lines thru it like threads pulled in fabric. I guess it'll eventually go blank. Can't work with that.
