Also known as the Cabbage Rose, an ugly name for a lovely flower. Not as common since people stopped making their own potpourri on a regular basis.

Thank you, Orinoco. I simply couldn't come up with the common name for that rose!

I think it's called that because of the many petals and the way they're arranged. Reminds me of a real brassica that's sold as a houseplant here; don't know if you can eat that one!

What a lovely picture I do love pinks and blues together then add a little lavender and the mixture, for me, would be perfect.
I am sorry to say that my legs continue to be infected and I am still living on antibiotics.Prof wants to get me in to hospital and do grafts again but cannot while they are so dirty. I will see him again in a couple of weeks and see what he says then.

What a trial this has been for you. I hope it is some comfort to know that many on here are keeping you in their prayers. God bless.

Barbaranne, what is causing the infections?
I will continue to pray for you. You are such a sweet and gentle person and these infections are simply heinous and unfair. Thank you for your blessings and hugs; I can't imagine a soul on this web site that doesn't need or want them. God bless you, too.

Dear Barbaranne, so sorry to hear that things are still not going well for you. It is sometimes hard to see what purpose God has for things that don't seem to cure. Hang in there, you are loved. Hugs.

Such a lovely prayer, Barbaranne - thank you. The ending of your post reminds me of my mother - she says hello and smiles at everyone, whether they want it or not!

Ugh! Went to the doctor on Friday - what a jerk! Sits there and says "Oh I hear you hate doctors"? Then asks me questions and each response she gives me this weird look. Puts me on a new drug and says if I proscribe will you take it. I said absolutely and she replies oh that's surprising. I was thinking omg! Do you think I want a heart attack! Then tells me "Oh you drive me crazy". I replied I already knew that before you mentioned it.

I love these morning puzzles and miss them a lot when my computer breaks down!

Computer crashes? Sounds like a virus - wonder if you do computer scans. We do them - we do two different types. They detect problems with the computer. Used to work in an office and had to do them and then found out we had a virus. That's when we had to call in a computer tech to remove it.
