I'll bet the royals who lived in this castle were always quite safe. It looks impenetrable. Built for security, I'd say--not for glamor. It needs a crew to take care of the grounds these days. Wikipedia says they don't think it was ever supposed to be a fortress, however, as there is no moat nor drawbridge. Wonder how they got any air with so few windows.
