Growing up there was a store that made homemade Caramel Corn. This store was at side entrance to a dept. store. Coming out of the dept. store you could smell the caramel corn. I'm sure I can make caramel corn. Now I've seen different versions of it - with dark chocolate, white chocolate and nuts. Yum!

Growing up we had a Corgi as well. Oh how I loved that dog! This sweet dog lived til it was 16 years old.

Carol, our corgi lived to 16 years as well. He was a tricolor and his name was Dudley and he had the sweetest disposition and loved everyone. He would wag that little nub tail 90 mph when he greeted anyone.

We had a sable and white corgi named Sassafrass or Sassy. Our dog had the sweetest disposition as well. One afternoon we had a visitor and a man sat in our living room. She kept sitting on his feet. Our dog didn't have any tail or nub. One year she wouldn't go down stairs of the deck we had in the back yard. We later learned that she was pregnant. She had 4 boys and 4 girls - 4 black and 4 brown. One vet tech called and said that she delivered and she couldn't get over the fact that she was allowing her to hold the puppies.

Our corgi was the sweetest dog but the SHEDDING!! As much as we loved him we can't go through that again. We were warned when we got him that corgis shed terribly, way more than most dogs, so we went into it informed. But the hair was in drifts within two or three days and when he walked you could see hair coming off of him. Our rescue mini-dachshund, who we had several years before Dudley died, is our little lovebug now. He is so funny and full of personality.

Yes they shed. We have a sheltie now. The most sweetest dog. Loves to play with other people and other dogs. Growing up we had 2 dachshunds - both dogs demise were quite painful for me. Both male and dark brown. The first was Tinkerbell and the 2nd Sparerib.

Reminds me of a visit to Banff. We walked downtown before dinner and stopped in a carmel corn store because their wares looked soooo good!
I started to eat it and by the time we got back to our hotel I thought I was going to die. I had been hungry and must have eaten too fast, too much. That was a lessen learned. I am still cautious with carmel corn --- not that I have it often!
