I've never seen long legs like that on any cat, tame or wild.

Lovely to look at, but beware they can be very nasty, you will find plenty of these in the Highlands of Scotland.Nice to view from afar.

Now there is an animal I have never heard of before - this site is certainly very educational.

QUOTES 2

Read not to contradict and confute, nor to find talk and discourse, but to weigh and consider.
--Sir Francis Bacon

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.
--Sir Richard Steele
I have always thought the actions of men the best interpreters of their thoughts.
--John Locke

Change your thoughts and you change your world.
--Norman Vincent Peale

Except our own thoughts, there is nothing absolutely in our power.
--Rene Descartes

Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heroes.
--Benjamin Disraeli

Make not your thoughts your prisons.
--William Shakespeare, Antony and Cleopatra, Act V, sc. 2

My thoughts are my company; I can bring them together, select them, detain them, dismiss them.
Walter Landor

"Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others." Brene Brown
"The intellect always cuts and divides like a pair of scissors. The heart sews things together and unites like a needle. The tailor uses both." ~ Ammachi
Left and right brain, tools through which the mind and soul are expressed. As John Earle explains, "Many of us have become disconnected from the natural world and our own spiritual nature. We keep driving around in our bumper cars, hoping that everything will be explained someday, and sooner, rather than later, would be preferable. But this is not how it works. To truly know our inner nature we are required to express ourselves." We have to tread through the mud and jump in the river, see where it takes us.
"If you bring forth what is inside you, what you bring forth will save you. If you don't bring forth what is inside you, what you don't bring forth will destroy you." ~ Jesus Christ (Book of Thomas)

"Most of us are aware that there is something within us that is not being fully expressed. We don't always know what it is consciously, but we know that there is more than what we are experiencing or have experienced. It is our unfelt suffering, our inner knowing, our true purpose, our unexpressed love...and to ignore that real self is in effect to die, at least until we awaken." Unknown

Odd proportions ---- tiny face, huge ears --- and it looks like it will be a good sized body.

I've heard of this cat - we found a bobcat a few feet from the house. This cat would be the size of the one in the photo. I didn't go outside at all. Knew people that were saying oh no you saw a medium size dog. I made Chocolate Mousse Pie and hubby made Chicken Divan.
