Rode in one of these to Mt.Pilatus in Switzerland. It is scary enough in the best of conditions, but we were swaying a bit --- and quietly uneasy!

What is at the top that warrants a dangerous ride to see? Don't look like much there to me...In an emergency maybe but to just ride a cable car for sightseeing does not make good sense to me...

It doesn't look high, but I expect it is high. Another thing to do is to google it and that will then make sense.

Just checked. It sits on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. My guess is that the cable car is going over the Atlantic :) That would make it dangerous.

Somewhere on the puzzle site is another one of this area when the Olympics' were in Brazil. I remember doing it.

And there's a Sugarloaf Mountain in South Wales, UK too. I used to hike it with family members.
