Butterflies are very special to me. At my father's burial one flew around my mom the whole time and was here when we got home and out of the car. Then when my mom was buried one flew around me and when I got home. When I got my job at Wal-mart on my orientation day one flew around me in the store. I feel like they are saying it's ok, good job. I'm really missing my mom right now so "Thank You" C4J team for this puzzle right now. You just hit the spot.

Puzzlelover20, When my son was little, he always said he was coming back as a butterfly. After his death, a blue with black coloring butterfly, which was also his favorite colors, would stay outside his bedroom window and just sit there. I took a close up picture of it and it reminds me of Jake. Butterflies also represent the loss the of a child. He was 21 and still my son and always will be. I miss my son also. I love the way some things can help us remember our lost loved ones including your Mama.

Butterflies are a sign of resurrection. When I was two a big monarch lighted on the tray of my stroller and I reached out and picked it up. I didn't know to hold onto it and it flew away. I remember my mother trying to follow it but it flew over the rooftops. We lived in Brooklyn then so there was no following it after that. Those row house yards were all fenced in.

It's timely that everyone is thinking about missing their mothers now...Yesterday my mother would have been 100 years old. She passed away on St Patrick's Day, just 2 days short of her 59th birthday. I was only 23 when she died, so I grieve that she wasn't here to be Grandma to my kids. But she's been gone for so long that now I'm looking forward to having her hold my hand all the way to heaven! Love and miss you, Mom!

Thank you all! I do have very special memories of her.She has only been gone a year. I miss her everyday! I wasn't blessed with children so I don't know that loss but I can understand it. She was more than my mom, she was my best friend. Thank you all for sharing your memories! Loving hugs to each of you!

And to you, puzzlelover. I used to call my mom every day and talk to her for an hour. I don't have close friends and my husband isn't much for idle chatting so it took years to get used to not having my mom with her happy chatter talking to me each day. I know what that feels like.

Really nice puzzle to do.
I remember being at the Arizona Desert Museum (or something similar) --- in a netted butterfly cage. Butterflies were all around, but one stayed in front of me, fluttering. I was wearing a knitted top which had a beautiful arrangement of flowers on the front!

Daylight savings; what's that? I'm in Arizona, but I do remember something about that when I lived in Kansas.

Was quite cool here in the 40's - went to take the dog out and went oh it's freezing! Today went to get our taxes done. The woman at the front desk was so rude! She was flustered because the credit card machine was down. She says oh I'll just write the # down and run it up later. I wasn't comfortable doing it that way. I asked if I could do it online or via the 800 line. Nope. She tells me to come back and then says do you have cash. Then says do you think you can go get cash and come back. It was already about 7:00. I said I'll have to transfer funds and says yeah how long will that take? I arrive back and ask to speak to the mgr. and she says yeah for what? During the time we had with the CPA - someone says to her - could you plz keep it down? lol We weren't loud at all.

Daylight savings was instituted during the depression to save on lighting costs. As the days shorten, the clock gets turned back an hour so it gives more daylight to the morning when kids are standing around waiting for the school buses but it makes sunset earlier. In the spring we reverse it by turning the clocks ahead an hour to make the sunset later. They claim it no longer saves energy but that has to be wrong because it saves an hour of turning on the kleeg floodlights at every ball field in the country. I love it because there's time to do stuff after the supper dishes, and I'm not an early riser anyway.
