I live in an apartment, however we do have these kinds of visitors. And, squirrels, possums and lots of feral cats. The cats are probably left behind when someone moves.

We have rabbits and there right outside on the lawn. They come out at night and our dog attempts to get them. We don't own the rabbits - one day I had to stop on the road. I had to get out and pick up a turtle that was in the middle of the road. The moment I pick up the turtle a man comes over to me and starts questioning what I'm doing. I explained that the turtle was in the middle of the road. Received a phone call yesterday from a jehovah witness. Kept asking me if he could send out literature.

Don't feel bad Aussie and dbnc2 I've just turned 65 a few weeks ago and age caught up with me about 5 years ago. I always tell the doctors who ask how my back got so bad, that
it's not the years, it's the milage. Not all of them understand what I'm saying. Still can't find out if I can work in my garden yet, vacuming put me down for a few days plus surprise it's snowing again! I love this puzzle the bunny is so sweet. We have cottontail rabbits here--so cute. Everywhere else I have lived all we ever saw was jackrabbits--not so cute. You all be safe.

Totally understand what you're saying, aussie! My problem is a pinched nerve in the L-5 vertebrae - makes my hips ache, especially the left one. Going to have it blocked later this month.

Oh - when you figure out how to walk without moving your buttocks, let me know!

Aknan can totally understand the pinched nerve pain. My recent back surgery was because the discs were completely gone, vertebrae were pinching my nerves from L3 thru L5. Had to have it fused so now I have 2 rods and 8 screws there now. It did help with some of the pain, but did nothing for the numbess, tingling. Don't let your back go too long or you will pay the price like me. Will pray block works for you. I let mine go for ten years so I got what I asked for. Aussie hope you are feeling better. Did you learn how to walk like that yet? LOL Be safe.

Darambo, don't think it will require surgery, certainly not like you've had. So sorry for your pain - mine isn't near that bad, but has increased lately. It's just the constant presence of pain; it wears you out and makes life so uncomfortable. I want it gone so I can get a better night's sleep and my Dearly Beloved stops nagging me about getting it taken care of! Thank you for caring.

Hi Aknan and Darambo, thanks for your messages and in the process of protecting my buttocks from pain, I managed to pull a muscle in the top of my leg so it was quite comical seeing the effort I had to put in just to get up from sitting down. Would have been easier just to stand up all day lol. However there is an improvement today and I expect it to keep doing that. Hugs to you both.

Akan - I have back issues as well and severe pain. Have you tried an OTC product that's named Bio Freeze. I have it and use it - it comes in a squeeze bottle and a roll on. I like the roll on - FYI - it smells like menthol but it will relief the pain. I suggested to a man who has back issues. OTC - abbrev. for over the counter. Mine was so bad that I had to go to a chiropractor - migraine and back. When I arrived for my 1st appt. he knew I wasn' feeling well. Suppose to be going to San Diego in Sept.

Thanks for the info, carolsapple. Sounds like it might bring some temporary relief, at least. I'll have to look for it up here.

I'm dealing with right now as well. The nerve block - what a cortisone shot? My dad had two back surgeries. Yeah I'm sure he's concerned and that's why he's nagging. A friend of ours nagged her hubby he finally called his doctor. She wanted him to go to the ER or walk in clinic. He has a blood clot and it effected his heart.

I moved out to a "suburb" about 2 years ago when I remarried and I have never seen such a proliferation of little critters. My little Yorkie, Frodo, is in "hog's heaven" and this little bunny looks like the twin of one of the bunnies in our hedge! God Bless!

Well, when I got him he was little, hairy, and full of mischief and being a devout fan of "Lord of the Rings", it seemed, and still is, perfect!!

It sounds like the name exactly fit your pup. Are you new to the site? I don't remember seeing your name. (Of course, my aging brain cell seems to forget a lot of things these days.) :)

If Only by Pixipixil
Oh if only a bunny remained just one bunny to have it come visiting is a delight.
But give it a season and soon there's a reason to wish I had caught it and gave it a fright.
There's now a large fam'ly, not one fluffy bunny,
And what they have done to my yard isn't funny.

Thanks dbnc. Some very generous person gave me premium membership so I sometimes do the premium puzzle and comment there. But I've been around...just not as out front anymore.
