I try to have 3 good meals a day, but if I have a big lunch, I often just have a bowl of cereal with raisins and strawberries for dinner. Who says that cereal is just a breakfast food!

I had oatmeal w/raisins & applesauce yesterday for supper. We had cool rainy day so it sounded good to me.
I will be so happy when I can get the cast off my arm so I can use it again.

I had coffee for my breakfast. Don't do breakfast much. Hope you had a wonderful day. God bless.

Coffee is about all I have for breakfast (not a morning person). It has been cold here the last few days so have had lots of soup, crackers & cheese. Have a great day!

It has been cold here in VA the last few days. Up north in PA where the rest of my lives it has been bitter cold and they had snow already. Not ready for that yet. Stay warm and safe. God bless

Are those cranberries on top of the cereal? They would be vary sour to eat without some sweetener. That breakfast bowled me over. It would hardly be a mouthful for the middle son in the morning. That's why he used serving bowls for breakfast,

They do look like cranberies, Parson. I love your pun on the word "bowled." Sounds like you have one hefty eater for a son. Good thing you have bowls large enough to accompany his morning appetite, which I suspect does not diminish for snacks, lunch or dinner; Blessings!

Sometimes, I wish they had a like button on here or laughing or smiley emoticons. However, I do also like that this page is simple because people are mainly nice and pleasant with comments.

I think they look more like red currants than cranberries.

That would make more sense if they were currants - especially if you are an electrician or going rafting.

KNadineM, there is a "like" button to click on just above the comments and under the center of the puzzle.

One could also be a reporter covering current events. AC of possibilities there.

Breakfast cereal with mint leaves, never thought of doing that before, will have to try it.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When you feed yourself what your body needs when it needs it, that's love. So give your bod some TLC and sit down and enjoy a good, substantial breakfast."" Kathy Freston

{Great advice.}

What nicer thing can you do for somebody than make them breakfast? Anthony Bourdain

Making me hungry for breakfast lol. Good night dear friends and God bless. Hugs.

My sister recently taught my husband how to make a convenient, healthy breakfast for me since I can't do much of anything for myself anymore. So once a week, he fills 6 glass canning jars with: 1/2 cup of uncooked instant oatmeal, a variety of nuts and dried fruit (I like pecans, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins or craisins, or anything else we see in the store that appeals to me), and one or two squares of dark chocolate (72% cacao or more). He puts lids on them and stacks them where I can reach them. Then when I have to make my own breakfast on days he has to leave for work, I just add a spoonful of honey, nuke a 1/2 cup of water and add it to one of the jars. Then I stir it and let it sit for a minute or two...then EAT!

It can be varied to use whatever you are allowed to eat.
Enjoy!

What a great idea and a way to simplify breakfast on a ruched morning! Thanks, Joyce!

Should have been rushed morning, although I've felt like my mornings might be pleated occasionally....

Hi Aknan, please don't give up on me - it has been very hot and now the cementing is finished, has created about a year's work cleaning and repotting. Love from your Aussie friend. Hugs.

I wouldn't choose to have cherries over MY cereal, neither. I don't like cherries, anyway.

Update on my niece with lung cancer. They had a biopsy done yesterday then she went home. Won't get the results for a week or two. If it is the type of cancer they think it is, there is nothing they can do for her but make her as comfortable as possible. My sister is not ready to accept that and is praying for God's intervention. Please pray for His will and His mercy. Thank you.
