This is a beautiful scene. Give me the tall pine trees in a dense forest, and a log cabin. You can come back and pick me up in a couple of years! lol Anyone's welcome to join me.

Just looked out my window and it is snowing here! Real
fluffy. The temp is 30 but feels like 22 here. You would like my brother cabins in Taos canyon they get lots of snow up there.

I can live without the snow, but it seems like the forest and log cabins have my heart. I've lived in the desert far too long. I grew up in the mountains and miss them a lot. But...my grandchildren are here in Tucson, so here's where I'll stay. At 65 I've found it's not as easy as it use to be to just pack up and move to another city! lol

If your want to move do it now, at 74 I don't even want to move to a smaller place here! My kids are going to have move me if something happens to hubby! Way to much for one person much yard for me to take care of...

I'm an apartment dweller, so no yard to worry about. I do miss having a yard, mostly because I miss having a dog. I recently thought of moving to Payson, I have family there. A lot of people offered to help, but then I realized I really need to be close to my daughter. When I go to the hospital she's right there, and knows my complete medical history. If I moved, she'd be 5 hours away, and wouldn't be able to take much time off work to be with me. All in all, I am making the best of it. This site, the puzzles, the friends I'm making (like you! ) really help.

Yeah - Wonder what breed you have - ours is a sheltie. I've heard of Payson - I like the jokes and look forward to them.

I don't have a dog at the present time, but I'd sure like one. My daughter's family has asked me to move in with them. Even their teenage daughters want me there! lol I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it. We'll have another family meeting this evening, we want to be sure all questions are asked and everyone will be on the same page as to what will be expected. I'm not doing real well in some areas, but really good in others! I fell again last night, and each time it's getting worse. I think I may have to go to urgent care today, I may have broken a bone or at least sprained a muscle or two in my foot. Ugh! Like they say, getting old is not for the faint of heart.

Hope you're okay - I've fractured a toe - which I could hardly walk on the foot. I had my leg elevated and on Advil and that didn't help. I then fell again a yr. later and seriously injured myself - I tripped and fell - landed on my hand bent broke it - it needed surgery to repair it. I had one of those Ugh! moments on Friday. I called someone about an invoice that we received and this clerk was treating me like I'm inept. Telling me how bills works - telling me send them out and then you pay? I feel like having a chat with her mgr.

Thanks for the support and encouragement, dbnc & carol. I've been wavering on seeing someone about the foot. Resting it and soaking it seem to help a lot. Then I'll get up and it starts hurting again, but as time passes, it seems to be letting up.

YW - When I hurt my foot it was the toe. I've hurt my foot before. Try and keep the leg elevated! After I found out I fractured it I didn't believe the doctor and asked to see the xray. I asked him if you can break a bone and still walk on it. Answer is Yes! Hubby didn't believe me - I had to wear a special shoe and was limping everywhere. Then ppl would ask me what happened. I was put on very strong pain meds and sometimes it didn't hurt and other times it did. A drawer slid out and fell on it. I'd get it checked just to be on the safe side. Hubby is going in for minor surgery next month. I've already booked the dog into doggy day care. I'll be at the hospital all day.

Prayers being said for your hubby and you. My foot is much better now, and only hurts now & then. I'm glad I waited to go to urgent care. I've broken toes before, it's no picnic. Did yours turn a lovely color? Mine always have. Purple, red, blue, lol

When I cracked my toe - the toe was swollen and looked weird. There wasn't any discoloration. When I broke my hand it was swollen and one knuckle was blue.

I went to those twice. The first one was so beautiful it brought me to tears. I do love butterflies and spent my youth catching them.

Yes, the man who started it is a Christian andf it shows. A relatively small enclosure covering his backyard at the moment, but the state government has allocated some land for a much bigger enclosure which will be five times as big as the one he has now. Already in the pipeworks and all very exciting for the island. He is a retired farmer and when I first made contact with him he said he had read that when farmers retire they usually die in two years if they don't get involved in something and in his words "that's not good for your health (death that is)" lol lovely man and he has touched many lives in the couple of years since he retired. Hugs

Belated Anniversary greetings to you, Aussie. Here's hoping that the computer comes back to you soon. I'm not on as much as usual either. My health has taken a beating with my IBS acting up and then also my knitting volunteering has started up so between the two, I'm usually bushed and find myself needing a nap in the afternoon. Hugs to you and miss you and everyone!

Am using a friend's Chromebook, which has a different way of 'clicking and dragging'. It took me 10 minutes, 17 seconds to complete the 68 C4J cut. My normal time is around 3:30. Think I'll stick to the desktop!

Panama City Beach? I went to acronymfinder.com and that was the only beach listed. The Pakistan Cricket Board, Printed Circuit Board, Polychlorinated Biphenyls, the Partido Comunista Brasileiro (Brazilian Communist Party), or any of the other 60 acronyms made much sense.
