Same here retirenow14. Seems they bloom beautifully, and die in a couple weeks. Disappointing.

Pour a small bottle of white vinegar around the roots for the blue blooms.

I understand they are blue if given a certain fertilizer and pink if given a different kind. You can control the color of hydrangeas depending on how much and what kind of fertilizer you give it. Any Master Gardeners out there to help with this?

I know iron deepens the blue - just drive a rusty old nail down into the roots; works better than a supplement!
