I've been living in Florida for the past 20 years. I still have most of my family in Belgium, several cousins.
You're from Denmark, never been there. It must be nice to visit you family.

I came out to New Zealand 54 years ago, just before turning 18. I've been back to England once, about 20 years ago - lovely to see him and his family, but I was soooo homesick for NZ that when I got back here, I kissed my house!!!

Tomandray, sorry I have given you the wrong idea, I am not Danish, but my brother and his family live there. I am well and truly British and I always feel a little homesick and cannot wait to get home whenever I leave this island

Hi Jigsawmaniac13, Yes I did and have visited many times throughout my life. I was born there and still have family there. It is like most places, cold winter, damp. Nice spring and summer. It's nice and green out in the pasture lands, has mountains in the eastern part of the country. It is very pretty. Does have very good food and excellent chocolate. :)) Many festivals, carnivals, beautiful churches, castles, parks, it's a lovely country. If you visit, just don't go in August, not much going on that month...it's vacation time for them. Hope you have a chance to visit there in the future. :)

I LOVE CHOCOLATE.
Well I went to the doctor about my skin problem. She wasn't sure what it was. Gave me medication and if that doesn't help will have to go to a skin specialist. There's something about it that just drags me down mentally. It acts like poison ivy but haven't been off my patio. Haven't been around too many people, fact is I've stayed home all week. She didn't even mention shingles so I can cross that off my list. It just blew in out of the sky as poison ivy can if that's what it is.( I've had it before and it didn't act like this). Oh well I guess I'll just have to endure it and take my meds and hopefully it will go away. Thank you all for your prayers and letting me talk to you about it. God bless you all.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, all your mind and your soul.

Hope you find out what's wrong. What are you in contact with that's new? Could you have picked something up from your pets? Maybe it's a thing related to poison ivy like poison oak. Sometimes people are so allergic they only have to be in the area to get it.

My dad was extremly allergic to poison ivy, down wind was just enough for him to get it, also if was on some clothing that he as near. Got in his eyes once and they had to bandage it, and mom had to lead him around. That was a really interesting time.

I am not a chocolate lover, Belgian chocolate is by far my least favourite, so I was able to do this puzzle without any temptation. Nice puzzle and not to difficult.
Beware dear friends of falling into temptation, a minute in the mouth and forever on the hips.

We had a Russel Stover Store here for awhile, loved to go there. Dark Chocolate Carmels are the very best...We used to always go the to store on the Plaza when we where in K.C. and stock up on them...

I love the dark chocolate ones! :) Since I don't live to far from KC we have quite a few places we can get them. I love going to the different outlet stores to stock up on them. I don't get to the plaza to often but love going there when I do. :)

I found the dark chocolate carmel, pecan ones in a package (sugar free) at one of the large retail stores. They were really good, but I have to limit myself to one (sometime two) per day.

Oh those are sooo good! I love the ones with pecans! I know what you mean on the limit one to two. ;) lol I would eat the whole bag and have a tummy ache if I didn't limit myself. :)

I avoid the Russell Stover outlet store - the last time I went, I probably spent close to $20, which is a lot of chocolate in an outlet store.

I did not live in KC, had friends there but lived in Topeka & Great Bend...but we went to KC at least once a year for shopping when I lived in GB & when I lived in Topeka we probably went several times a year. That all was before about 1965. Have been there several times after that, but have been to the Nelson numerous times over the years. Took my son once when he was early teens and he also loved it. He also has worked out of Overland Park for the last several years with the project he was on, now he is on SD, CA at least until late Sept. EBT was always my favorite store to shop in when we were there when I was growing up (had the best fabric & I sewed alot).

Fiestyoldlady - Hyde Park has some really great houses - I've lived around Hyde Park for some time.

Have you been to the Nelson since they've expanded it? The expansion has allowed the Nelson to have more 20th Century art, photography, and some really great special exhibits.
