Wish I could knit a beautiful sweater like the one in the picture. Was not as proficient at knitting as I was at crocheting. Oh well, I'm a terrific puzzle worker. Ha Ha!

Just started knitting a couple o days ago and made a pair of baby booties and halfway through a little cap. It is for the girl across the road who I didn't know was in the family way and when I notice it, I think she is about 10 months along the wayyyyy. So thought I better get those fingers moving.

"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." –George Bernard Shaw

"We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of Peace." –William E. Gladstone

Take care and God bless. Hugs.

I'm making a wedding shawl. All lace with beads. She wanted synthetic yarn so I had a bit of looking to find a nice one. Or it would have been baby fingering. White is so hard to find!

Love and hugs. God bless!

I finished the little booties and cap set and took it over to my neighbor this morning, only to find that I will have to make another set as she is having twins!!! They are girls and she already has two girls about 6 and 7. WOW she will have her hands full when the twins arrive in August.

Did very little knitting, but a lot of crocheting. Made several afghans, one beauty for my daughters hope chest), and still have several still in my linen closet (and there they stay). They'll probably end up at Goodwill where my kids will drop them off as they drop me off to the old folks home. LOL

Fair Isle can be a challenge. There's a few tricks to knitting it. But when done, it does look very nice. Love the colours used in the pattern.
