Never heard of these. Where can you get them? Can you buy them or do you have to make them? Not too easy a puzzle.

Reminds me of hot tomollies ( sorry cant sp that one) we use to eat from the street vendors in Mexico when I was a child. That was 59 years ago so don't gasp! we loved them. They were warped in corn shucks...mmmmmmmm

Not hungry--just curious. Do you peel the bamboo off and just eat the stuffing? Dumplings? I wonder what is inside the leaves.

Usually is sticky rice with either pork (zongzi), fish, mung bean paste, banana/plantain, etc

I forgot to mention that bamboo leaves cary the same antioxidant that exists in green tea.

Also, other stuffing: chestnut, mushroom, dried shrimps, peanut paste, coconut...
