True, but it is my fantacy, and in my fantasy the baby never grows up and never makes messes. I saw a video of a man in a rescue place playing and hugging a baby elephant. I wished I was there.

If so, you would enjoy his book, The Elephant Whisperer.

Years ago I knew a family that collected elephant statues and they had lots of them.
Such a cutie! It seems that if elephants are raised around loving humans, the elephants will return that love. I've seen a few videos where young elephants like this will actually try to lay in a person's lap if the person is sitting on the ground. They can be very affectionate towards other animals.
Now, we just need to get more humans to be affectionate towards elephants and stop things like poaching them for their tusks.
