I really like ice cold apple juice, sitting under a tree with a book and a dog by my side. Spring is on the way and thenmaybe it will be a reality and not the dream it is at present.

May God bring all your dreams to reality filled with His love, joy and peace. Hugs for all who would like them.

I'd much rather have apple pie than apple juice. Don't those apples look perfect for pies?

God bless you all tonight and every day/night.

I will send my prayers to you my dear. God is good and sometimes we just never understand why things happen the way they do. Keep your chin up and prayerfully your niece will overcome.

These apples remind me of the green apples that we used to have in our backyard when I was growing up. I don't know if they were Granny Smith apples, but they weren't Golden Delicious apples. They weren't as tart of Granny Smith apples, but they were delicious. My mom wouldn't allow me to eat more than two a day, but we would just grab apples off of the trees, rinse them off (often with saliva) and eat them. I think this is why I prefer crisp apples and don't really care that much for things with cooked apples like apple pie.

Growing up, our back yard had 3 apple trees - I would eat so many fresh apples every summer and fall. We also had 4 cherry trees, 2 peach trees, and a grape arbor, but those grapes weren't good to eat off of the vine, but one of my aunts made grape jelly and her husband would make wine from them. The peaches were great, but unfortunately, attracted so many bees, my dad ended up cutting them down because it wasn't really safe for my brother and I to play in the backyard.

Up into the 80's today. I like apple juice, but sitting here doing the puzzle and drinking some wine--late afternoon.
