I would love to have one just like this, but I suspect it may be one of a kind. And --- it looks just perfect where it is.

Beautiful and it does look like stained glass. Certainly all sorts of beautiful craft in this world.

"There are moments when troubles enter our lives and we can do nothing to avoid them.
But they are there for a reason. Only when we have overcome them will we understand why they were there."
– Paulo Coelho

"Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end."
– Ed Sheeran

Never looked at it that way. God bless all of you. Hugs.

Love your quotes each evening. Thanks for sharing them.
The crinkled glass globe didn't smooth out even after I put it together so carefully. "Crinkled glass isn't all it's cracked up to be" it panes me to say.

The trouble with antique stores is that they never have anything new.

And that is why we go into those antique stores, right? We aren't new either and then cause we are older we know a lot about what is in them stores. LOL.

They remind us of when we were growing up. Who would have ever thought that our new things then would be antiques now. Many young people have no idea what some of the old things are used for.

So you remember the old metal ice trays? They had a lever you pulled to release the ice cubes. I identified one yesterday at a yard sale; even the seller was too young to know what it was!

Those ice cube trays you mentioned were the latest gadgets. They were MUCH easier to get the ice cubes out. Now I just get as many as I need from the ice-maker in my refrigerator/freezer.

I also remember when houses had 5 rooms and a path.

What about meat grinders? As for the metal ice cube trays my husband like them. I thought they were harder to get out.
