I'm sure I will never see the challenge in wanting to climb mountains but they are imposing in their majesty!

Good morning/evening all. Hope your weekend/holiday is enjoyable. In the US we are celebrating Labor Day--sort of the last hoorah of summer.
Folks usually have barbecues and picnics. Yesterday it poured in the mid afternoon through to the evening. It was only supposed to be a short burst but oh well. We have no plans to party. Yesterday was singing at church. We held today open in case my son needed baby sitting but so far no need. It looks like it may clear up. Until then I will work on finishing a plaque for my husband's classroom.
Have a great day and God bless.

It's Labour Day in Canada too! Officially our last hurrah of summer also.

Hope you're all having a wonderful long weekend!

Oh, where were they? I'm assuming it was a buddy of his? And that the wife is from Canada.

Here's hoping for a safe trip for them.

I love these puzzles but something puzzles me. Some people can finish in less than ten minutes, me it takes longer. Any suggestions?

I've improved my times with practice and daily puzzles but I'll never be in the under 15 minutes club! Also if you subscribe to the site, there's this nifty little feature that allows you to sort out the edges automatically, and you can choose which background to use under the puzzle-sometimes a darker or lighter background makes all the difference.

Grandma2103, apparently some people do one puzzle several times so that they get faster each time - practice makes perfect and all that. Personally, I don't worry - arthritis in my hands slows me down, plus I've always been a bit uncoordinated, but I don't care, I just enjoy doing the different cuts, just for fun!

Rushing would take the fun out of it for me. I do these puzzles for relaxation, not for completion. I do the 192 classic and the 127 hex. They take me from 35 min to over an hr. and I see people doing it in 4 to 5 min. But I enjoy it. God Bless everyone,
Judy D.

I agree, it's not a competition for me, just relaxation and fun. I tend to stick with the classic cut and occasionally will do something bigger than my usual 108 or 192 classic. Usually if it's a great picture, then I'm going to try and make it last for a while.
