My children had a Malamute when they where growing up very sweet and very protective dog. Nisku loved them as much or even more then my children loved him. If there are dogs in heaven I know I'll see him there.
Hi Annie1749, I had the pleasure of having a mix Alaskan Malamute/German Shepard for 14 years. She was a fun loving dog, full of joy. She loved to go for a ride in the car, then stop at the park to visit her friends the ducks and then a stop for a vanilla cone. Those were special days for her. She especially enjoyed snow days and a good romp through the snow catching snowballs. I still miss her. Have a wonderful day. :)
I owned a Malamute when we lived in Lake Tahoe. A great dog! Now, one of my dogs is 1/2 Malamute....I swear, from her neck down she looks exactly like one, but her head is that of a terrier, all scruffy and weird!!!
