Did not God make the sky for flying in?

Apart from burning you or drowning you, the sky has no other uses, apart from making me envious every time I see a glider - Too many years ago, my health made me give up as a pilot, and although I went up after that as a passenger, it's not the same thing as piloting the aeroplane, so I handed in my licence and have only flown herd-class in Airbuses and the like ever since - which is incredibly boring.

Reminds me of my Dad's planes. Loved flying with him. He'd land at one home in the pasture and the cow would run and he'd say "Milk shakes tonight! "

I love being a passenger in small planes. Never learned to fly. One of my first boyfriends had just graduated from Pennsylvania Military Academy where he learned soaring, among other flying. That is quite a rush! I also enjoy seaplane rides, offered in many of the tourist areas that have fabulous scenery in remote, offroad areas.

I'm not sure if I would be willing to fly in that plane or not. Is there even room for a passenger?

I flew in one a little larger then this and held on the whole time. I went with a friend who wanted someone to go with her. Would never do that again. Did not like it>>>>>

I'd probably be shaking so much that I'd be a danger to the plane. I don't mind flying, but I've never been in something smaller than a commercial jet.

Another one finished! Wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I did.

God bless you all today, tomorrow, and forever.

This airplane will hold 2 people, sitting side by side. Some people have a real fear of flying in anything, but if you are just feeling cautious then you should try sitting thru a ground school (usually there's no charge if you aren't doing it for credit) and learn what makes an airplane 'tick' ~ how and why it can fly. It makes a lot of sense and your fear will go away. I have been licensed to fly a plane like this since 1972 and I can tell you that you are a lot safer in a plane like this than you are in a car getting to the airport! Have a great day and keep your wings level :-)))

This would be such fun to go in. I had a chance a few years ago to fly a Cessna, with a trainer beside me. It was a gift from my husband and I LOVED it. I was able to fly it over our farm, while my husband & nephew took pictures. They were brave to be our 2 passengers.

I was learning to fly a few years ago and got up to almost making my first unassisted landing when my hip decided it had had enough and I could no longer get in to a plane. Amazing experience of being up there and flying around. Loved every minute of it. Hugs.

I'll be darned, aussie, we have one more thing in common! I learned to fly in 1975 when I lived in Kansas City, MO. It's just an amazing experience. Pity your hip conked out on you.

Hi slippers, probably be a two way interesting conversation and it is all possible, just have to walk across that bridge that separates our two countries hehehehe. I have some relatives in NZ, a cousin in Stokes Valley who has offered to put me up if I come over, so it is all within the realms of possibility. Hugs.

Very colorful, but wouldn't want to fly in such a small plane. Too many accidents have been happening with them.
